AlibiDoku Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026
Effective: August 31, 2026

Welcome to AlibiDoku (the “App”). We respect your privacy. This Policy explains how information relating to you is handled when you use the App. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

We operate the App and are responsible for the related processing of personal information.

Contact: wangziwei9401@gmail.com

2. Information We Handle

The App currently requires no account or sign-in. It does not request your name, phone number, email address, government identifier, contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos, or advertising identifier.

To provide its basic features, the App stores the following on your device:

We use this data only to restore gameplay, show progress, and remember settings. We do not use it for profiling, personalized advertising, or automated decision-making.

To understand App usage and fix stability issues, the App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to process:

These events do not contain suspect names, clue text, free-form input, or advertising identifiers. We use them only for analytics, gameplay improvement, and fault diagnosis—not for advertising, cross-app tracking, profiling, or automated decisions.

3. Local Storage and Future iCloud Sync

The current version stores this data only in the App’s local device container until you delete the App or its data. Deleting the App will ordinarily remove its local data. If you enable Apple device or iCloud backup, local App data may be included in a backup handled by Apple under its own terms. You can manage backups in system settings, and we cannot access them.

A future version may offer optional iCloud sync. If launched and enabled, the App may use Apple CloudKit to store case progress, challenge results, board state, tutorial status, and preferences in the App’s iCloud private database so that you can sync and restore data across your Apple devices. We will not collect your Apple Account password or use synced data for advertising or profiling.

iCloud sync requires a network connection and valid iCloud account. Synced data counts against your iCloud storage and is stored and secured by Apple under the applicable iCloud terms and privacy policy. Turning sync off will not ordinarily delete copies already stored in iCloud. When sync launches, we will explain the available controls and update this Policy if the processing scope materially changes.

4. System Permissions and Third-Party Services

The App currently requests no camera, microphone, photo, contact, location, Bluetooth, tracking, or notification permission.

The App uses SnapKit, an on-device user-interface layout library. It provides no account, advertising, analytics, or network service and does not transmit your personal information to its developer through the App.

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics provided by Google LLC. Google processes the analytics and diagnostic information described above to provide usage measurement and stability monitoring. Retention and deletion follow the Firebase project settings and applicable Google policies. The App does not display ads, does not access IDFA, and does not use these services for cross-app tracking.

Apple may independently process account, device, download, or diagnostic information when you download or update the App through the App Store. If iCloud sync is enabled in the future, Apple will also handle data necessary to provide iCloud and CloudKit.

5. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

We do not sell or publicly disclose your information, or provide it to third parties for their advertising purposes. To provide analytics and fault diagnosis, the App sends the limited analytics and diagnostic information described above to Google LLC through Firebase. Full board progress and language preferences remain stored locally. Future iCloud sync will provide sync data only to Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit infrastructure; it will not use a public database or expose data to other users.

If a future feature requires processing or sharing information with another recipient, we will update this Policy and provide notice, obtain consent, or establish another lawful basis before enabling it, except where law provides otherwise.

6. Information Security

We take measures appropriate to the App’s functions to protect local data and follow data-minimization principles. Please protect your device and system account. No security measure can guarantee absolute security; if a security incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial and notification measures as required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights

You can view gameplay progress, challenge statistics, and language settings in the App. You can reset local gameplay progress and challenge results in Settings, or clear App data by deleting the App. Use Apple’s backup controls for copies in a device backup. If future iCloud sync is launched, you will also be able to manage sync and cloud copies through the available controls and Apple’s iCloud storage settings.

To ask about this Policy, make a complaint, or exercise applicable access, copy, correction, deletion, or consent rights, contact us at the address above. Because the App has no account system and analytics or diagnostics are ordinarily associated only with an app-instance identifier, we may be unable to locate a particular record from your contact details alone. We will respond after reasonable verification within the period required by law.

8. Children

The App does not request age or identity information and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Minors should read this Policy and use the App with a parent or guardian’s guidance. If we later process personal information of children under 14, we will obtain guardian consent and take the measures required by law.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy when features, processing practices, or legal requirements change. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice, such as an in-App notice, and seek renewed consent where required by law. The updated Policy applies from its stated effective date.
